Marie Josiane Nga 🇬🇭

Marie Josiane Ngah, the Chairperson of the Panel of judges of the Champion initiative, is the coordinator of the West African Democratic Solidarity Network (WADEMOS) for Francophone West Africa.

She is passionate about governance, public policies, and the monitoring and evaluation of socio-economic development programmes. She has an over 10 years wealth of experience with non-profit and international organisations to improve the use of evidence to inform the design and implementation of policies and programmes.

Marie Josiane has been the country manager and the monitoring, evaluation and learning lead at PACKS Africa in Ghana. Prior to joining PACKS Africa, she worked at the Department of Trade and Industry of the African Union Commission as a Young Professional and Policy analyst in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

She holds a Master’s degree in international relations from the Institute of International Relations of Cameroon. She is also an alumna of the Building State Capability programme at the Center for International Development, Harvard University.

She is a member of the Africa Evidence Network based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
